FREIGEIST x Zeitgeist
Die Metropolen dieser Welt können einpacken, wenn im vorarlbergischen Dornbirn die ART BODENSEE über die Bühne geht. Was einst als Geheimtipp im Bodenseeraum seinen Anfang fand, ist heute ein international angesehenes Format für zeitgenössische Kunst. So inspirierte die extravagante Kunstmesse Ende Juni bereits zum 19. Mal Tausende Besucher bis weit über die Grenzen des Vierländerecks hinaus. In diesem Jahr wurden jedoch nicht nur die Kunsthungrigen, sondern vor allem auch die „Kunstdurstigen“ nahezu magisch angezogen. Denn die ART BODENSEE holte ein ganz besonderes Stück Gegenwartskunst vor den Vorhang: die perfekte Symbiose zwischen Kunst und Natur. Paradox? Nein, FREIGEIST!
State of the ART …
Entstanden ist FREIGEIST Raspberry – Edition Art Bodensee in Kooperation mit einem FREIGEIST, wie er im Buche steht: Milan Mladenovic, der diesjährige Artist in Residence der ART BODENSEE, ist das Mastermind hinter dem außergewöhnlichen Designkleid der Sonderedition. Die Entscheidung darüber, welcher seiner drei unterschiedlichen Entwürfe letztendlich den Himbeere Geist zieren werde, wurde jedoch – ganz zeitgenössisch – via Instagram getroffen. Der Favorit der kunstbegeisterten Community, sprich jener Vorschlag mit den meisten Likes, wurde schließlich in einer streng limitierten Anzahl von 200 Stück produziert, anlässlich des einmaligen Kunstereignisses präsentiert und natürlich vor Ort ausgiebig probiert. FREIGEIST x zeitgeist
Dornbirn definitely is the hub of the art world while the annual ART BODENSEE takes place. What once started as a rather small happening for the insiders in the Lake Constance region is now an internationally renowned fair for contemporary art. So, in late June the ART BODENSEE inspired thousands of visitors far beyond the borders of the quadripoint for the 19th time already. This year, it also presented a very special masterpiece: the perfect symbiosis between art and nature. Sounds paradoxical? Well, no … It is FREIGEIST!

FREIGEIST Raspberry – Edition Art Bodensee was created in cooperation with a true FREIGEIST: Milan Mladenovic, this year's Artist in Residence of ART BODENSEE, is the creative mind behind the special edition. The final decision as to which of his three brilliant designs will adorn the raspberry spirit was, however, made via Instagram. The followers’ favorite – the design with the highest number of likes – was manufactured in a strictly limited number of only 200 pieces, presented during the ART BODENSEE and of course enjoyed to the fullest.
